Midwest Maifest – A One-Day German Spring Festival Celebrate the arrival of spring at Midwest Maifest, a lively German-inspired festival happening May 9, 2026 from 2:00–6:00 PM at the New Town Amphitheater in St. Charles, Missouri. This family-friendly event brings together the flavors, music, and traditions of Germany for one festive afternoon. Guests can enjoy a variety of craft breweries, wineries, spirit distilleries, and food vendors, along with live German entertainment and artisan vendors throughout the day. The festival takes place beneath the iconic Maypole and welcomes visitors from across the region—including St. Charles, O’Fallon, Wentzville, St. Peters, Lake St. Louis, Weldon Spring, Cottleville, St. Paul, Augusta, New Melle, Dardenne Prairie, Orchard Farm, Defiance, West Alton, and beyond. Wristband tickets are available for purchase online or onsite. Proceeds from Midwest Maifest support St. Charles–Ludwigsburg Germany Sister Cities exchanges, helping strengthen cultural connections between the communities.
