21st Annual New Town July 4th Parade

One of the community’s most beloved traditions, the parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and features creative floats, decorated golf carts, bicycles, wagons, strollers, and more. The parade is open to residents, local businesses, and community groups, making it a true showcase of New Town’s creativity and hometown pride. Whether you’re participating or cheering from the sidelines, it’s a festive morning filled with patriotic fun and community spirit.

Line-up for participants is 9:15 am. The parade starts at Greensmith Park and ends at the Amphitheater. Participants sign up at [email protected]. Candy or other items may NOT be thrown due to insurance liability.

Cardboard Boat Race at The Beach
Presented by the New Town Men’s Club and sponsored by Camp Glory, this crowd-favorite event invites participants to put their engineering skills—and duct tape—to the test. Competitors race homemade cardboard boats across the water while spectators enjoy plenty of laughs, unexpected splashes, and memorable moments. Whether your boat glides to victory or sinks in spectacular fashion, the Cardboard Boat Race promises entertainment for all ages. The winner of the race receives 4 front row tickets to a Cardinals game!
