NTx Connect is a local guide for North St. Charles City. We want this site to be useful to you, and that means being clear about what we collect and what we do with it. This page explains that in plain language.
Who we are
NTx Connect is powered by The Commons in Saint Charles, Missouri. You can reach us at our contact page with any questions.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the site and serve you well:
- Account details — if you create an account or become a member, we store your name, email, and (for members) billing details handled by Stripe.
- Form submissions — contact messages, business listings, event submissions, job posts, and mailing-list signups. We keep what you typed and the time it came in.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. Stripe sends us a confirmation and a transaction ID.
- Usage data — basic analytics like which pages were viewed, referring sites, and approximate location. This helps us understand what's working.
- Cookies — small files that keep you logged in and remember session state. We don't sell your data to advertisers.
How we use it
- To run the site, send the emails you ask for, and respond to your messages.
- To process payments and member subscriptions through Stripe.
- To improve what we offer, based on what people actually use.
- To keep the site safe from spam and abuse.
If you sign up for our mailing list or become a member, we'll send you email related to that. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can unsubscribe at any time and we won't take it personally.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- You can ask us what we have on file for you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your information.
- You can close your account.
Email us through the contact page and we'll take care of it.
How long we keep it
Account and member information stays as long as your account is active. Form submissions and contact messages we keep for as long as they're useful, usually a few years. Payment records we keep as long as the law requires.
Security
We use standard practices to protect your information — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted passwords, scoped access for the team, and trusted vendors for the sensitive parts. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Big changes will be announced on the site or by email if it affects you.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you'd like us to do something with your data, please reach out through our contact page. A real person will read it.
