Break out the neon, peg those jeans and tease that hair—the ’80s are back, and this time someone isn’t making it out alive.

“I Love the 80’s to Death” brings the decade of big hair, bigger personalities and unforgettable music to life in an interactive murder mystery. What begins as a gathering of the era’s biggest names for a rockin’ concert quickly takes a deadly turn when backstage secrets spill into the spotlight and someone ends up murdered.

This isn’t a traditional stage show where you simply sit back and watch. The Murder Mystery Company specializes in immersive, live-action mysteries led by professional actors, with guests becoming part of the story. Some audience members may find themselves playing suspects, while everyone else becomes a detective, working with their table to uncover clues, question suspicious characters and determine both the killer and motive. Think of it as a live-action game of Clue—with plenty of comedy, surprises and audience participation along the way.

And because this mystery is set firmly in the ’80s, dressing the part is half the fun. Rocker attire and neon colors are encouraged, so dig out the leg warmers, slouch socks, denim, sunglasses and anything else worthy of MTV’s glory days.

Tickets are $65 per person and include the interactive mystery and catered dinner. Crafted cocktails will also be available for purchase. Guests must be 18 or older, and advance reservations are recommended.
