Celebrate the season with an afternoon of shopping, food, live music and family fun at the Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off at Shire Lane Estate!
Start by exploring the Fall Vendor Market, featuring local businesses, makers and community organizations. Come shop local, discover something new and support the people who make our community special. Enjoy live acoustic music from Larry Gerst, who not only sounds like James Taylor—he looks the part, too! The perfect soundtrack for a fall afternoon.
Then join the “Prize Walk”, a New Town twist on the old-fashioned cake walk! With KTRS radio personality John Carney as celebrity guest emcee, each round will feature a locally donated prize and just 20 walkers circling the numbers until one lucky winner is drawn. Prizes provided by Marsala’s Market, QuesoWhatt?!, Kandi Lady, Kurt’s Kolaches, F3, New Town Men’s Club, and more. Proceeds benefit the Commons Foundation, helping local families in times of need.
Families also are invited to join Mark & Lexi from Commons Canvas for pumpkin painting. Pumpkins will be available to purchase and paint that afternoon or take home for your own jack-o’-lantern.
And to top it all off, aspiring chefs are encouraged to put their best recipe to the test in the Chili Cook-Off! Enjoy live music throughout the afternoon, Hot Diggity Dogs, Molly O’s Chili, spirits, apple cider and hot cocoa.
