One of New Town’s more unusual — and entertaining — fitness experiences is back this fall as Goat Yoga of Missouri returns for two sessions combining yoga, animal-assisted therapy and plenty of time with the goaties.

Set against the scenery of the New Town Amphitheater, Goat Yoga offers a decidedly less serious take on a traditional yoga class. Participants can stretch, relax and disconnect from the everyday routine while friendly goats wander through the group — occasionally becoming part of the workout themselves.

Each session includes approximately 45–60 minutes of yoga, followed by time to interact with the goats and take plenty of pictures. No yoga experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome, making this an activity that experienced yogis and complete beginners can enjoy together.

Two sessions are available. The 10:00 a.m. session is $42.31 per person, while the 11:30 a.m. session is $37.78 per person. Registration and payment are handled directly through Goat Yoga of Missouri, with a separate ticket link for each session. Participants should arrive about 15 minutes early for registration and bring their own yoga mat. Don't have one? Mats can be rented from Goat Yoga of Missouri for $5.

The fall sessions follow a popular Goat Yoga visit to New Town earlier this year in the spring and offer another opportunity to check this unique experience off your bucket list.

Come for the yoga, stay for the goats — and don't forget your camera!
