Get ready to taste the world! The City of St. Charles is bringing its first-ever International Food Festival to New Town on Saturday, October 10, for an afternoon filled with international flavors, colorful traditions, live performances and plenty to explore.
The area surrounding the New Town Amphitheater and canal will take on an international flair, with flags representing participating countries, authentic cuisine, cultural performances, artisan vendors and unique merchandise. It’s a chance to experience a variety of cultures without traveling farther than your own community.
And definitely come hungry! Mexico will be represented with Mexican cuisine, traditional folk dancers and piñatas for the kids. Festivalgoers can enjoy German food along with German dancers, experience the food and traditional dancing of Ireland, and sample Italian favorites while enjoying Italian cultural performances. India will bring another burst of flavor and energy to the festival with Indian cuisine and lively Bollywood dancers.
With something happening throughout the afternoon, you can grab a plate and stay awhile. Tables for dining will be set up behind the amphitheater stage and along the canal, creating a great setting to enjoy the food, watch the performances and take in the festival atmosphere.

More than a food festival, the day is designed to celebrate the many traditions and cultures represented throughout our community.
Bring your appetite, bring the family and take a trip around the world — without leaving New Town!
