Music will fill the air as friends, family, musicians and members of the community gather to celebrate the life of Tim Eveker, a talented sound engineer whose work behind the scenes helped countless musicians sound their very best.

Tim passed away unexpectedly on June 24 at just 50 years old. Those who knew him remember far more than his ability behind a soundboard. His family describes a remarkably talented and resourceful man who could fix, build or figure out just about anything—from technology and electrical work to plumbing and automotive repairs. More importantly, Tim believed in using what he knew to teach, encourage and lift up the people around him.

It seems especially fitting that his celebration of life will happen through music. Rather than a traditional service, Tim’s family envisioned a music-filled tribute, bringing together friends and the community he impacted during a lifetime spent helping create memorable performances.

Tim is survived by his family, including his 20-year-old child, Jay. A GoFundMe established by Tim’s parents is helping provide for Jay’s immediate needs, grief counseling, health coverage and future education following Tim’s unexpected passing.

This celebration of life is an opportunity to enjoy music, share memories and celebrate someone whose talents and generosity left a lasting impression on the people around him. Come spend an afternoon remembering a man who spent so much of his life making sure everyone else could be heard.
